THIRD INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE "PLANT STRESS AND ADAPTATION"

Dear colleagues!

On September 9-10, 2026, the Third International Scientific Conference “Plant Stress and Adaptation” will be held online as part of the Joint Activity Program of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine for 2026-2028. The conference is organized by the Yuriev Plant Production Institute of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and the Institute of Food Biotechnology and Genomics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. This year's conference will include new research technologies, such as omics and digital technologies, as well as artificial intelligence, in addition to the traditional physiological, biochemical, and molecular-genetic aspects of plant stress and adaptation. Employees of scientific and higher education institutions engaged in plant resistance research are invited to participate.

Main directions:

  • Plant response to abiotic and biotic stressors: physiology, biochemistry, molecular mechanisms
  • Omics technologies in the study of plant stress responses
  • Digital technologies and AI in experimental plant biology
  • Genetics, breeding and biotechnological approaches to increasing plant resistance
  • Ecological and population aspects of plant adaptation

Conference format: Remote (ZOOM videoconference) and extramural (abstract publication).

Working languages: Ukrainian, English (for reports, publication of abstracts), English only for articles in the special issue of the "Open Agriculture Journal"
