REPORTS FOR 2021 ON RESEARCH PROGRAMS 16 « SUNFLOWER» AND 17 «PLANT GENETIC RESOURCES»

On February 3, 2022, the Plant Production  Department of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine heard reports for 2021 on research programs 16 "Sunflower" (principal investigator - Makliak Kateryna Mykolaivna) and 17 "Plant Genetic Resources" (principal investigator - Riabchun Viktor Kuzmych (Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS), subprogram 2 "Pomology" of research program 17 (principal investigator - Yuryk Larysa Stepanivna (Experimental Station of Pomology named after L.P. Symyrenko of the Institute of Horticulture of NAAS).

The work of the executors of research programs 16 and 17 was positively assessed. Proposals were made to further improve the activities of institutions dealing with the Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine to enrich, preserve, study, and use the global plant genetic resources for the food production and agriculture in Ukraine.
