MEETING ON THE OCCASION OF THE WORLD SCIENCE DAY FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT

On November 20, 2024, the Head of the Young Researcher Board of the Yuriev Plant Production Institute, Yuliia Chernobai, participated in a meeting of young scientists with the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovyi, on the occasion of the World Science Day for Peace and Development. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Denys Kurbatov, and the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov. During the meeting, the issues of developing the scientific and educational spheres in the Kharkivska Oblast were discussed. In addition, they talked about a long-term strategy for the development of science in the context of the restoration of Ukraine, which consists of several important factors: attracting young people to science; attracting business to science; developing infrastructure; searching for investments. In particular, they discussed the issues of postgraduate studies and scientific supervisors as well as interactions between business and universities.
