MEETING OF THE COORDINATION AND METHODOLOGICAL COUNCIL ON RESEARCH PROGRAM 17 "FORMATION AND USE OF PLANT GENETIC RESOURCE BANK" (PLANT GENETIC RESOURCES)

At the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS, an online meeting of the Coordination and Methodical Council on Research Program 17 "Formation and Use of Plant Genetic Resource Bank" (Plant Genetic Resources) was held on July 20, 2023. Supervisors and responsible executors of the projects from 25 NAAS research institutions were present, 42 participants in total.

At the meeting, the Deputy Director for Research on Plant Genetic Resources, Candidate of Biological Sciences Riabchun Viktor Kuzmych gave the talk "The National Plant Gene Bank of Ukraine under Martial Law". The curators of collections (Andrii YAROSH, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (winter cereals); Olha SOLONECHNA, Candidate of Agricfultural Sciences (spring cereals); Olha BEZUHLA, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (grain legumes and groats crops); Larysa YURYK ("Pomology" subprogram) analyzed activities of the institutions co-executing Research Program 17 "Plant Genetic Resources".
