MEETING OF THE COORDINATION AND METHODOLOGICAL COUNCIL ON RESEARCH PROGRAM 16 "SUNFLOWER: BASICS OF PRODUCTION PROCESS MANAGEMENT"

On April 4, 2024, an online meeting of the Coordinating and Methodological Council of Scientific Program (SP) 16 "Sunflower: Basics of Production Process Management" of NAAS was held at the Yuriev Plant Production Institute of NAAS. Supervisors and responsible executors of the projects within SP 16 from 8 research institutions of NAAS were present, a total of 15 participants. The meeting was opened by the SP Head, NAAS Academician, Viktor Kyrychenko. The participants of the meeting considered the working programs and calendar plans for 2024, emphasized the need to publish more research results, and discussed the issue of harmonizing methodological approaches to conducting studies. The Yuriev Plant Production Institute of NAAS, as the main institution of the SP, provided participating institutions with the first generation hybrid seeds for field experiments. Experimental hybrids, including jointly created ones, were also exchanged for environmental trials in different pedo-climatic zones.
