MEETING OF THE COORDINATION AND METHODOLOGY COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH PROGRAM 16 SUNFLOWER of NAAS (the chief institution is the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS)

On April 14, 2021, a meeting of the Coordination and Methodology Council of scientific research program 16 Sunflower of NAAS was held remotely (the chief institution is the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS).

The meeting was attended by the heads and responsible executors of the scientific research program projects from six research institutions of NAAS. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Coordination and Methodology Council, NAAS Academician, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Viktor Vasyliovych Kyrychenko.

At the meeting, the participants discussed, clarified and approved the work programs of fundamental (3) and applied (13) studies for 2021. Suggestions were made to improve the quality of research and the work of the Coordination and Methodology Council. It was decided to continue joint creating sunflower hybrids using germplasms of different origins, to improve the methodological support of research, and to boost advertising scientific achievements among agricultural enterprises of different forms of ownership.
