AWARDING CEREMONY FOR TO THE WINNERS OF PRIZES NAMED AFTER OUTSTANDING SCIENTISTS OF UKRAINE BASED ON THE 2022 COMPETITION RESULTS

During the regular session of the General Assembly of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which took place on April 27, 2023 in Kyiv, the President of NAS of Ukraine, academician Anatolii Zagorodnyi, presented diplomas to the winners of the prizes named after outstanding scientists of Ukraine based on the 2022 competition results.

The Vasyl Yakovych Yuriev Prize for outstanding scientific works in genetics and creation of new methods of acclimatization, more high-yielding varieties of agricultural crops and highly productive breeds of animals - for the series of works "Genetic Resources of Common Wheat in the Post-Genomic Era: New Molecular Genetic Markers of Grain Quality and Disease Resistance Genes as a Molecular Breeding Tool" was received by:

Head of the Laboratory of Ecological Plant Genetics and Biotechnology the Plant Protection Institute of NAAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Biological Sciences Nataliia Kozub;

Academic Secretary of the State Institution "Institute of Food Biotechnology and Genomics of NAS of Ukraine", Doctor of Biological Sciences Yaroslav Pirko;

Head of the Laboratory of Wheat Breeding and Physiology  the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Oleh Leonov.
