Offsite Meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine

On September 8, 2021, the Head of the Laboratory of Corn Breeding and Seed Production, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Chernobai Larysa Mykolaivna took part in the offsite meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine “Innovative Approaches in the Breeding of High-Yielding Corn Hybrids Belonging to Various Ripeness Groups and Bred for Different Purposes”, which was held at the Exhibition and Innovation Center of NAAS (Ksaverivka Druha village, Kyivska Oblast).

The event was attended by members of the Presidium of NAAS, directors of scientific institutions of NAAS, heads of departments of agro-industrial complex and rural development as well as leading scientists of the institutes.

As part of the field meeting, the participants visited a corn demonstration site and a nursery for testing corn hybrids, where modern corn hybrids adapted to climatic changes, including 23 hybrids bred at the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS, were presented.
