WORKING VISIT OF THE PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AGRARIAN SCIENCES OF UKRAINE

On March 8, 2023, the president of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Ya.M. Hadzalo, and vice president of the Academy, Academician I.I. Ibatulin, visited Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS.

The NAAS Heads got acquainted with the Institute’s activities in wartime, expressed their gratitude and support to the team. They were informed about progress in the preparation of doublet specimens of the National Plant Gene Bank in safer locations.

NAAS President Yaroslav Mykhailovych Hadzalo reported on the decision of the National Board for Science and Education on the positive assessment of the activities of the Academy's institutions in ensuring the food security in Ukraine and in the world.

The Institute's staff thanked the NAAS Heads for their support in the implementation of scientific programs and demining of experimental fields.
