The collection publishes experimental and review articles on breeding, genetics, biotechnology, genomics, physiology, seed production and investigations, plant genetic resources, variety studies, plant production, interdisciplinary works and other papers related to breeding and seed production of field crops, vegetables, and fruits.

Plant Breeding and Seed Production is one of the printed (electronic) periodicals included in the Category B List of Scientific Specialized Journals of Ukraine (in specialty 201 - agricultural sciences) in compliance with order No. 1301 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 10.15.2019.
