SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL SEMINAR "PECULIARITIES OF THE AUTUMN SOWING CAMPAIGN IN THE SOUTH AND EAST OF UKRAINE UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF MARITAL LAW"
On September 8, 2023, Chief Researcher of the Laboratory of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences N.I. Riabchun participated in the scientific and practical seminar "Peculiarities of the Autumn Sowing Campaign in the South and East of Ukraine under Conditions of Marital Law", which was held online at the Institute of Climate Smart Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (Odesa).
At the seminar, issues related to optimization and adaptation of the autumn sowing campaign components were discussed with focus on the following aspects: analysis of regional climatic changes and their impact on winter crop sowing in conditions of martial law; optimization of components of winter cereal growing technologies on rainfed and irrigated lands under military aggression; current varieties and seed production as a guarantee of increasing the performance of winter crops under climatic changes, etc. At the seminar, Nataliia Ivanivna Riabchun gave the talk "Peculiarities of Preparation of Winter Crops for Overwintering in the east of Ukraine under climatic transformation and military operations".
