Scientific-Practical Seminar - "Field Day 2021: Breeding and Technological Innovations in Modern Grain Production"

On July 2, 2021, the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS and the SE Experimental Farm of the Institute "Elitne" hosted a scientific and practical seminar - "Field Day 2021: "Breeding and Technological Innovations in Modern Grain Production." More than 180 participants from the Kharkivska, Zaporizhska, Donetska, Luhanska, Poltavska, Dniprovska, Sumska and Chernivetska Oblasts participated in the seminar. Among them, there were representatives of scientific and educational institutions of the Eastern Interregional Research Center of NAAS, heads of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Vilkhivka United Territorial Community, representatives of the group "Ukravit", raion administrations, agrarian enterprises of different forms of ownership, NGOs and commercial companies as well as media men. Exhibitions of scientific innovations in plant production were organized at the seminar; the demonstration test sites of the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev and technological experiments on cultivation of varieties and hybrids of winter and spring cereals and legumes were surveyed; modern innovations in breeding and technologies were presented. The participants of the seminar inspected the modern seed-cleaning machinery of Ahroexpert LLC.

During the seminar, the participants actively communicated on professional issues, exchanged their experience, expressed interest in the presented scientific innovations and stated their willingless to cooperate.
