Meeting of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine on the Comprehensive Evaluation of Scientific Institutions (2021–2025)

On June 10, 2026, Acting Director of the Yuriev Plant Production Institute of NAAS, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Valeriia Kolomatska, participated in a meeting of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine dedicated to the comprehensive performance evaluation of scientific institutions, state enterprises, and organizations for the 2021–2025 period.

During the meeting, participants conducted a thorough analysis of the performance metrics of NAAS research facilities and experimental farms, reviewing financial resource efficiency, the state of the material and technical base, and the operational output of state enterprises.

Special attention was devoted to strategic priorities within the agricultural sector: enhancing the operational efficiency of experimental farms, strengthening scientific support for agricultural production, and advancing seed production as a key pillar of national food security under current conditions.

Based on the meeting's outcomes, key future priorities were established to boost the efficiency of NAAS institutions and reinforce scientific backing for Ukraine's agricultural sector.
