MONITORING OF THE FIELDS SOWN WITH VARIETIES BRED AT THE PLANT PRODUCTION INSTITUTE NAMED AFTER V.YA. YURIEV OF NAAS

On June 16, 2023, Acting Director of the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Leonov Oleh Yuriiovych visited a private enterprise - Ahro-Hlian (Head I.D. Hlian) located in the Krasnohradskyi District of the Kharkivska Oblast. Together with the Company's chief agronomist, Roman Serhiiovych Korochanskyi, he inspected the fields sown with varieties bred at the Institute: Haiok and Alians winter wheat, Haiduk pea, as well as Husliar sunflower hybrid jointly bred by the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS and the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute - NCSCI. He monitored the fields’ condition and noted a high level of farming techniques to ensure fulfilment of the genetic potentials of varieties and hybrids.
