INTERNATIONAL FORUM "FOOD SECURITY OF UKRAINE IN POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION: GLOBAL AND NATIONAL DIMENSIONS"

Acting Director of the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Leonov Oleh Yuriiovych took part in the International Forum "Food Security of Ukraine in Post-War Reconstruction: Global and National Dimensions", which took place on June 1-2, 2023 at Mykolaiv National Agrarian University. At the University's demonstration field of cereals, he presented the latest varieties bred at the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS: winter wheat and triticale varieties and spring wheat, barley, and triticale varieties. He outlined promising areas of the Institute’s breeding studies.

On May 31, 2023, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Leonov O.Yu. visited the demonstration fields of the Institute of Grain Crops of NAAS (Dnipro) and the Institute of Steppe Agriculture of NAAS (Sozonivka village, Kirovohradska Oblast), where he evaluated features of winter wheat varieties grown in different environmental zones.
