International Field Day "Scientific and Innovative Achievements and Competitiveness of Early Cereal Varieties in the Central Region of Ukraine"

On June 24, Head of the Laboratory of Wheat Breeding and Physiology, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Leonov Oleh Yuriiovych and Head of the Laboratory of Barley Breeding and Genetics, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Pavlo Mykolaiovych Solonechnyi participated in the International Field Day “Scientific and Innovative Achievements and Competitiveness of Early Cereal Vrieties in the Central Region of Ukraine”, which took place on at the Institute of Agriculture of the Steppe of NAAS. Winter and spring spiked cereal varieties bred at different research institutions of Ukraine and other countries were widely presented on the Field Day. Presented by Leonov OYu and Solonechnyi PM, winter wheat and spring barley varieties bred at the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS were not inferior to the best domestic and foreign achievements and aroused the agrarians’ interest.
