International agro-industrial exhibition "AGRO-2021"
On June 8-11, the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev NAAS, as the chief institution of the Eastern Interregional Research Center of NAAS, participatedt in the 33rd International Agro-Industrial Exhibition "AGRO-2021", which was held in Kyiv and is the largest agro-industrial exhibition in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
The Eastern Interregional Research Center of NAAS, whose mission is to implement investment and innovation programs for the development of agribusiness and rural areas in the Kharkivska, Sumska, Donetska, and Luhanska Oblasts, presented innovative scientific achievements of the Center in plant production, soil management, livestock raising, veterinary medicine, and agricultural product processing, which are offered for implementation in agribusiness.
The Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev NAAS presented innovative high-yielding, adapted to adverse bio- and abiotic environmental factors varieties and hybrids of cereals, grain legumes and oil crops grown for different purposes, which can ensure high-quality crop products; highly efficient seed production systems; and energy and resource-saving technologies for growing field crops at the exhibition. Visitors of the exhibition were able to get acquainted with the latest achievements of the Institute and receive infomaterials on their use.
