REFRESHER COURSE WITHIN THE "MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP" PROGRAM

From March 6 to 11, 2023, Deputy Director for Science, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Valeriia Pavlivna Kolomatska attended a refresher course at Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

The refresher course within the "Management and Leadership" program was organized for deputy directors for science of NAAS research institutions. The program included lectures on current problems of agrarian sciences and promising ways to solve them. Special attention was paid to the issues of ensuring the food security of the state in view of environmental and economic challenges as well as to the restoration of the agricultural production and processing industry of Ukraine.

Lectures were given by NAAS academicians, deputy ministers of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, and heads of leading NAAS units.

During the classes, there were active discussions covering important issues of the organization and conduct of the institutes’ scientific activities.
