Advanced training course for researching and teaching staff

From February 26 to March 1, 2024, at the Yuriev Plant Production Institute of NAAS, an advanced training course for researching and teaching staff was held in the following areas: "Methodological and Information Support of Breeding Research" and "Formation, Management, and Effective Use of Collections of Plant Genetic Resources."

In accordance with the course program, lectures and seminars aimed at highlighting the issues of theoretical and informational support of the breeding process and the mainstreams of work with plant genetic resources were held.

The course was attended by scientists from 18 NAAS scientific-research institutions (SE Institute of Grain Crops, Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing, Institute of Horticulture, Plant Breeding and Genetic Institute – National Center of Seed and Cultivar Investigations, Institute of Oil Crops, Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics nd. a. M.V. Zubets, and others) and teachers and associate professors from 3 higher education institutions of MES (State Higher Education Institution Uzhhorod National University, National University of Bioresources and Nature Management, Bela Tserkva National Agrarian University). Course participants noted high scientific levels of the lectures and seminars as well as excellent designs of the presentations.
