Round table dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding ukrainian scientist in corn breeding and seed production, Vasyl Ovsiiovych Kozubenko
On August 27, 2024, the Yuriev Plant Production Institute of NAAS held a round table "On the Occasion of the 125th Anniversary of the Birth of an Outstanding Ukrainian Scientist in Corn Breeding and Seed Production, Vasyl Ovsiiovych Kozubenko, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy". At the round table, Candidate of Historical Sciences V.M. Ozherelieva gave a talk "Vasyl Ovsiyovych Kozubenko’s Life and Scientific Path" and Candidate of Agricultural Sciences N.M. Muzafarov gave a talk "Historical Aspect of the Scientific Achievements of the Laboratory of Corn Breeding and Seed Production". The talks were discussed: Doctor of Agricultural Sciences V.P. Kolomatska, Candidate of Biological Sciences V.K. Riabchun, Candidates of Agricultural Sciences I.P. Barsukov, N.V. Kuzmyshyna, and O.V. Sikalova participated in the discussion. A bibliography of V.O. Kozubenko’s publications has been issued; it reflects the main stages of the life and research endeavours of this outstanding Ukrainian scientist in breeding and seed production.
