ROUND TABLE "OUTSTANDING UKRAINIAN SCIENTISTS IN SEED PRODUCTION AND SCIENCE OF AGRICULTURAL CROPS"

On December 19, 2023, at the Yuriev Plant Production Institute, a round table "Outstanding Ukrainian Scientists in Seed Production and Science of Agricultural Crops" was held. The round table was devoted to the 120^th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding seed production scientist, Bohdan Oleksandr Ivanovich, and to the 105^th anniversary of the birth of another outstanding researcher in seed science, Strona Ivan Hryhorovych.

At the round table, the talks "Life and Scientific Path of Bohdan Oleksandr Ivanovich" (given by Candidate of Historical Sciences Valentyna Mykolaivna Ozherelieva) and "Life and Scientific Path of Ivan Hryhorovych Strona" (given by Candidate of Agriculturul Sciences Bezuhla Olha Mykolaivna) were discussed.

Academician V.V. Kyrychenko; Doctors of Agricultural Sciences Leonov O.Yu., Kolomatska V.P., and Kozachenko M.R.; Candidates of Biological Sciences Riabchun V.K. and Bilynska O.V.; Candidate of Agrarian Sciences Ohurtsov Yu.Ye.; and scientists Vakulenko S.M., Tertyshna N.V., and Potiomkina L.M. took part in the discussion.
