TOUR FOR CONSERVATEES OF THE DAY DEPARTMENT OF THE TERRITORIAL CENTER OF THE KYIVSKYI DISTRICT

On August 1, 2023, researchers of the Institute conducted an introductory tour to the National Centre for Plant Genetic Resources and gave a lecture on the Institute’s history for conservatees of the Day Department of the Territorial Centre of the Kyivskyi District. They visited the National Centre for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine (NCPGRU), which coordinates research on formation of the plant gene pool and management of the Plant Genetic Resources Bank of our country. The Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS is a Ukrainian agrarian research and methodological centre, which is of strategic importance for the economy and security of the state.

The tour to the NCPGRU was conducted by a senior researcher, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Skorokhodov Mykyta Yuriiovych. The Institute’s history was covered by a leading researcher, Candidate of Historical Sciences Valentyna Mykolaivna Ozherelieva.

The tour was attended by representatives of HESED, Ukrainian Society of the Deaf, Kholodnohirskyi and Nemyshlianskyi Territorial Centres. We thank Yevheniia Shyriaieva for help in organizing the event.
