FIELD DAY "YIELD FORMATION IN EARLY CEREALS IN THE NORTH-EASTERN REGION OF UKRAINE AND PECULIARITIES OF HARVESTING IN 2024"

On July 18, 2024, the acting director of the Yuriev Plant Production Institute of NAAS, Oleh Yuriiovych Leonov, participated in the Field Day "Yield Formation in Early Cereals in the North-Eastern Region of Ukraine and Peculiarities of Harvesting in 2024", which was held at the Institute of Agriculture of the North-East of NAAS.

The event was attended by representatives of the administrations of the Sumska Oblast, scientific institutions of NAAS, managers and specialists of agrarian enterprises of different organizational and legal forms of ownership.

Representatives of leading scientific institutions of NAAS had the opportunity to demonstrate the actual productivity of agricultural crops bred by them.

During the meeting, farmers discussed several problematic issues concerning the harvesting campaign and prospects for the development of economic entities.

The participants also had the opportunity to learn about the peculiarities of the yield formation in winter spiked cereals in 2024 and innovative regimens of plant protection and to inspect seed fields of spiked cereals.
