FIELD DAY "FORMATION OF EARLY CEREAL YIELDS IN THE NORTH-EASTERN REGION OF UKRAINE AND PECULIARITIES OF THEIR HARVESTING IN 2023"

During the threshing of winter cereals at the demonstration site of the Institute of Agriculture of the Northeast of NAAS of Ukraine, heads of leading scientific breeding institutions of Ukraine, namely: the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS, NSC "Institute of Agriculture of NAAS of Ukraine", V.M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat of NAAS, Ivan Experimental Breeding Station of the Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar Beet of NAAS, Poltava State Agrarian Academy, Nosivka Experimental Breeding Station of V.M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat of NAAS, had an opportunity to both visually demonstrate crops and characterize the actual performance of agricultural crops bred by them.

After control threshing had been completed, all participants of the event were invited to see a Cannabis sativa seed field sown with hemp ‘Sofiia’, which had been bred at the Institute of Agriculture of the Northeast of NAAS of Ukraine. The participants also learnt about other achievements of the Institution's scientists.
