FIELD DAY 2023 "VARIETIES AND HYBRIDS OF FIELD CROPS BRED AT THE PLANT PRODUCTION INSTITUTE NAMED AFTER V.YA. YURIEV OF NAAS AND TECHNOLOGICAL METHODS OF THEIR CULTIVATION"

On July 6, 2023, Field Day 2023 "Varieties and Hybrids of Field Crops Bred at the Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS and Technological Methods of Their Cultivation" was held; it was dedicated to the 115^th anniversary of the Institute's foundation. The event was held online using the Institute's official website and YouTube channel.

At Field Day 2023 (online), visitors had a chance to learn about winter and spring cereal and grain legume varieties bred by the Institute and technological methods of their cultivation: winter wheat, winter triticale, winter rye, spring durum wheat, spring barley, spring triticale and pea, which were presented in videos. In demonstration and experimental fields, leading breeders provided information on breeding mainstreams and results, features and advantages of new varieties, seeds of which will be offered for purchase for the 2024 harvest.
