Originator - Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya. Yuriev of NAAS.
Osoblyve was included in the State Register of Plant Varieties Suitable for Dissemination in Ukraine in 2019 for growing in the Steppe.
Variety – aureum.
Mid-ripening. The vegetation period is 85-93 days.
The plant height is 110-130 cm. The panicle is nodding, compact, with a great number of seeds.
The lodging resistance score is 9.
Resistance to common in Ukraine smut races
This cultivar is noticeable for high biochemical parameters of quality: the protein content is increased (13.65%); the carotenoid content is 4.78-5.5 mg/kg.
The potential yield is 5.0-5.5 t/ha.
